The famous Cobalt Blue Dish of Albenga

One of the most valuable archaeological finds discovered at Albenga is a great dish cobalt blue, found intact, made with a mold, but embellished with grinding, carving and then sanding the wheel, found in a tomb of the second century AD. The figures that decorate the center are made "negative relief" and are a pair of Putti who dance in honor of Bacchus with soft features.
The winged cherub holding a musical instrument to six rods, called the syringe, and a shepherd's crooked staff. The other hand holds the Tirso and bears a strange burden on his shoulders, a skin of leather that feral clearly refers to the nectar of the gods and intoxication. (the Tirso was a long stick with a pine cone on top, crowned with ivy and vine leaves, was carried by Dionysus and his followers)
A real rarity. The master glass-maker after the die-casting, he ground and polished glass on both sides and then decorated with carvings of the wheel and the press, and finally completed the work freehand with engravings of the accuracy of which not even a Goldsmith would be able to.
Come and visit the exhibition of finds of Roman glass "Magic Transparencies" at "Palazzo Oddo" in Albenga.

OPEN SOURCE ASP SCRIPTS (by Livio.net)

What is OpenSource?

"The basic idea behind open source is very simple. When programmers on the Internet can read, redistribute, and modify the source for a piece of software, it evolves. People improve it, people adapt it, people fix bugs. And this can happen at a speed that, if one is used to the slow pace of conventional software development, seems astonishing.
We in the open-source community have learned that this rapid evolutionary process produces better software than the traditional closed model, in which only a very few programmers can see source and everybody else must blindly use an opaque block of bits."

It's time to contribute!
